Making the Right Choice
These are the questions parents ask before joining. Here's everything you need to make an informed decision.
I teach all four of the IB mathematics courses: IB AA SL and HL, and IB AI SL and HL.
I organise students into cohorts based on their IB exam date (May or November of their graduation year). Each cohort is limited to 5 students, with a maximum of 16 students in total. This ensures the deep, systematic support this partnership requires.
Students typically join at the start of their IB course, though I accept students up to 6 months before their final exam. I recommend getting in touch early to secure your spot.
Current availability:
I am currently accepting students for 2026 and 2027 exam sessions.
Our introductory call will confirm spot availability for your specific exam session. If your cohort is at capacity, I maintain a waitlist and will contact you immediately if a spot opens, though this is rare, as students typically complete the full programme.

Payment is due by bank transfer 5 days before each month begins. No application fee, no registration fee, no hidden costs.
Flexibility: Either party may end the partnership with one month's notice. You're never locked in if the partnership isn't working for you.
Once you submit an enquiry, I'll be in touch to schedule a 20-minute introductory call. This is a conversation to discuss your child's situation and answer any questions you have about the partnership.
We'll cover:
- Your child's current situation in Maths (strengths, challenges, goals)
- Target grade and university aspirations
- How my approach would work for your needs.
- Availability
Best timing: Students typically join at the start of their IB course (24 months before final exams). This allows us to build systematic mastery from the foundation upward.
Too early? Subject to availability, students may begin their partnership up to one year before starting their IB course. This is ideal for students who want to enter IB Maths with a competitive advantage. Beyond that, I accept expressions of interest at any time.
Too late? I can start work with students up to 6 months before their final exam, though this may require intensive catch-up work.
I understand the unexpected sometimes happens - family emergencies, school exam conflicts, illness. I build flexibility into every partnership because stressed, inflexible scheduling helps no one.
Rescheduling approach:
- Give me 24 hours notice and we'll find another time that same week to maintain momentum
- If same-week isn't possible, we'll reschedule it in the next month or bank the session for intensive exam preparation periods
- If I need to reschedule, we'll find a mutually convenient makeup time
- Technical difficulties mid-session? We pause and reschedule the remainder at no cost
Bonus months: Some months have 5 sessions instead of 4. These extra sessions are included as a complimentary part of our partnership.
I maintain a limited roster and calendar flexibility specifically to ensure makeup sessions happen without stress.
